About TMC Musical

What is this?

This is a fan-musical for the horror web series: The Mandela Catalogue- produced by Alex Kister. We are no way officially affiliated with him, and are merely passionate fans hoping to adapt the show into a musical. As such, this is an unpaid project, relying on volunteer work.

The project is directed by:
TriangularityDubs
TheQuasarWinds
(Both can be found on YT- though admittedly Quasar hasn't posted in far too long)

Project Details

(not required reading unless you are unfamiliar with TMC. If that's the case, just read anything following that part)

Due to the nature of the source material, this project will be subtly transformative. Applying creative liberties to better transfer the story into a musical format, as well as to fill in the gaps of canon. We will try our hardest to remain as close to canon as possible. However, with TMC still on going, there will be, without a doubt, parts that don't align with canon as new information gets revealed.

If you are unfamiliar with TMC, Wikipedia describes it as: "It is set in the fictional Mandela County [and it's surrounding fictional counties], Wisconsin that is invaded by demonic, otherworldly entities called "alternates" that psychologically torture their victims with the ultimate goal of assuming their identities as "doppelgängers" - end quote.
It primarily follows: Thatcher Davis (Protagonist), Adam Murray (Protagonist), Sarah Heathcliff, and Evelin Miller. All trying to navigate this threat, and the ensuing issues. Working to hopefully overcome it.
This project will be more character focused than the original.
you can find more information on the character's under their individual role descriptions.

TW: TMC HAS MANY STORY BEATS AND THEMES BASED ON SUICIDE, AS WELL AS GENERAL PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR THINGS. FURTHERMORE, IT HAS SOME RELIGIOUS ASPECTS. This project in particular will explore the trauma and (often unhealthy) coping mechanisms of the characters.
