Intro
My name is Michael-John Reeler, and I've been an aspiring voice actor for a good portion of my life. But, I love doing about a million other things too. I use all of my passions and hobbies to provide education to a community, through the medium of livestreaming on YouTube!
Voice Acting BackgroundI really have wanted to be a voice actor without realising it since I was a baby. From my passion for acting in general came a love of cartoons, video games and other animated movies and TV shows, and since starting TTRPGs, I realised that what I was interested in here was actually voice acting.
So, years went by when I got passive experience and feedback, and I learned a lot. A few years ago I made my first demo reel, and so far my career has culminated in being cast for several named and generic characters for the much-anticipated Fallout London project!
I have really enjoyed my time in the industry so far. I hope to work with as many people as I can, enjoy so much of other actors' talents and skills, and really immerse myself in the experience.
Personal InfoRegarding other things about me: I studied law at university (and got the piece of paper for it), I've been a teacher and tutor for 11 years and counting, I love acting, singing and music, I'm a hobbyist photographer and aspiring novel writer, and almost most of all, I love tabletop role-playing games and regular video games too. There's more, but you get the idea.
EquipmentI use an AKG P120 XLR microphone, which hooks into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation. I use Audacity for my recordings.
Thanks for stopping by my profile!
Video Games/Animation: $100 for 100 words
Audiobook Reading/Meditation Guide: $80 for 100 words
All prices are open for negotiation, and the price includes a beginning and end consultation, emails and messaging throughout the project, as well as reasonable editing requests and a reasonable amount of retakes. What is reasonable depends on the project!
Any other type of voice-over work I'm happy to negotiate around the two pricing systems up there.
I am here for as much exposure as possible, from as varied work opportunities as I can get. While my main target is video games, audiobooks and animaion, I'm happy to try out for any work.
At the time of typing this, I don't think there's a role I wouldn't take (unless it didn't fit me ethnically or culturally). The main thing I'm trying to get from voice acting is contributing as much as I can to the stories that other people want to tell. So, whatever roles help me do that, I'll take on gladly.
