Hey,I'm Mikhayla Messer or my alias BasicRez. I'm a 20-year-old, Canadian Voice Actress. I have been Voice Acting since I was 16. Within that time I've learned and continue to work diligently to improve my skill. I've voiced in only a handful of projects, but I continue to work hard and continue pursuing my goals.

In the summer of 2018, I use to have a part-time job cleaning cottages. At the time I was Voice Acting -- not getting serious with it. One cottage I cleaned was for Canadian singer, actress, and voice acting director, Stevie Vallance. (Wikipedia, IMDb, Behind the Voice) She's an amazing actress and I learned so much from her. I'm just some guy from the internet here to help with others projects and to get help with mine.  Not affiliated with any studio, I make personal-use projects and anything I do upload is non-profit.  Having only taken introductory college acting courses, I have assisted in a few small roles with other's projects outside of CCC.  I found this website figured this would be a nice change of pace and make it easier to audition for others as well as manage auditions for my projects.

For Animation Commissions Inquiries: I do NOT offer animations for free, no exceptions--do not dm me if you are looking for someone to animate for free (cue TikTok audio "I am not the one" lol). Animation commissions are a minimum 500 USD per 10 seconds, which covers a simple animation with ONE character. After a long stint of providing vocal narration and advertising in commercials, I want to get back to what I truly love: character acting!
