   Hello there! To whomever is reading this profile, allow me introduce myself. I am an aspiring voice talent that goes by the name of Dani Shyland! Since I was young, cartoons have always kept me entertained. They contained very complex characters whom I could depend my life on. More specifically, it was the feelings of the characters that really captured my attention. The sad, the happy, the dark,  the shy, all these feelings left me with a sense of awe.
 
   I lived a sad childhood not really knowing my father and this left me rather depressed and really unmotivated.  As I grew up, I began to hate myself more and more, to the point of almost, well, suicide. However, I had a sudden realization when I hit twenty and that was life could be best spent on other things rather than depressing matters. In film he voiced minor character Lou the Mail Carrier in Susana Duenas's "La Oportunidad" and portrayed Lemon in Vince Salreno's "The Primary Job". From the 10 theatre productions he has performed in his top four roles are are Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast), 9 separate characters from the Civil War era (Spoon River Anthology), Nicely Johnson (Guys and Dolls) and the villainous Cuban-Mexican General Mendoza Olmos (The Gemini Effect) during the 2016 Lenea Theatre Festival.

I am fairly new to Voice Over work so I am still working on perfecting my audio reel; it will be up soon though!
I have been acting on stage for about 5 years, starting in college. I have been in numerous productions and played a variety of roles, including a production of "Hamlet" where I played Polonius, and a production of "The Dumb Waiter" by Harold Pinter. My father runs a local radio station where I occasionally provide a voice for advertising.
I also run games of Dungeons and Dragons for my friends, where I use my vocal talents to role-play the characters in the game. You could say I am very passionate about acting in many of its forms.

There are two reasons why I'm here. One, I hope to create animations and videos, with the help from others, out of ideas my friend and I have in our heads. So, I might post in search of much appreciated help here.
