I was always the kid that would ask "why?" to anything I was told to do. Genuinely curious to know the reason why I had to do this or couldn't do that. "Because I said so" never got my parents very far. That inquisitiveness eventually brought me to music and the creation of it. At the time, I was very sheltered and only knew the lyrics of hymnals, the sounds of clapping slightly off beat and the occasional tambourine accompaniment. Of course, as any 13-14 year old, I would sneak around and smuggle contraband into my parents incredibly conservative Hispanic baptist home. Hi! I'm Zaki! I do VGM composition and sound design. I've been throwing together digital music for seven years now, and I’ve been posting my work online for four. I've also worked shortly in film composition as well, albeit in an unprofessional capacity. 

I specialize in VGM music specifically, as that what I've always been drawn to. I believe that VGM music is much more then something to disable as soon you start up a game, and this reflects in the work that I do.
