In relation to voice acting...I have been interested in a career doing voice acting and voice overs for a very long time, but only recently started to pursue it because of the old restriction of needing to live in or near certain cities to be close to the recording studios. With technology and other things things that have happened the past few years, I have heard many professional voice actors talking about having to set up home studios and working from home and it gave me the hope and motivation I needed to start seriously pursuing it.
Most of my experience has been doing voice acting for my own characters and NPCs in tabletop RPGs, which I started doing in 2014 and has been almost completely improv. I guess you're supposed to use this box to talk a little about yourself right? Well I'm a programmer by day and a passionate Artist/VA by night!
I grew up during the era of Saturday morning cartoons and fell in love with the art and voice work in animation. I've spent years entertaining folks with my voices and decided recently to get a little more involved with it.
I'm looking to expand my Voice Acting horizons and possibly look for more consistent work in this wonderful field. I was recommended to this site and I see a bunch of fun and passionate projects here. Can't wait to dig in and get to know you all!
