I am currently enrolled in the Animation and Video Game Development course at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario, which I began in September 2023. I have independently produced one major 13 minute-long pilot film from 2021 - 2023 and have made several much shorter animations as well. I am in the middle of producing my second major short film, "Madoc Under Attack!" Which will be screened at the Aron Theatre in Campbellford, Ontario as part of the Small Town Shorts Film Festival in October 2024.

Valeria Carrizales is a Mexican-American Animation Student at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA. Her areas of expertise revolve around 2D Animation and Comic Illustration. Much of her work focuses on emphasizing dynamic expressions and movement along with experimental color composition.

Valeria, best known online as "blubird513," has worked as an Animator and Character Designer under smaller studios such as Shavs Media Productions, as well as a Freelance Artist.

Having been inspired by her personal experiences growing up in Chicago -- as well as many traditional Disney and Pixar animations -- Valeria aims to inspire perseverance and hope through her vibrant designs and captivating scene composition.
