Story Outline: We follow the lives of two monkey Peking Opera performers, Our protagonist Tang, a mask changing performer, and his mother now retired. Tang’s mother utilizes tough love and criticism to try and help Tang improve at his craft. However this creates a divide in their relationship, thrusting Tang down a dark path in order to succeed in his mothers eyes. 
Tang is offered a deal from a manipulative witch who lurks in the rafters of the opera house. He takes the offer, and is granted magical powers that ...
