Im a male novice voice actor who doesnt even posses a dedicated microphone, nor a sound treated room for that matter.
However i try my best with what i got, and Audacity helps a ton.
Iam however much more proficient in the 3D moddeling deparment and 3D animation, all within blender, but still self taught.
Im also improving my video editing skills rapidly.
