My name is Lani, and by day I'm usually a Global Corporate Social Marketing Manager, but in my personal life, I'm a colorful, queer cosplayer who founded my own inclusive LGBTQIA+ community group 9 yrs ago called "Cosplay With Pride" ✨️🌈 - where cosplayers connect with their local communities in the Bay Area to do good. Currently in the process of getting my group under the 501c3 umbrella soon! As for acting, my background is in Professional Theater, but I left that life years ago for a variety of reasons. Now I'm a hard-working Corporate type mom who has realized that I miss creating theatrical art. And several people in my life, including my dj/music producer hubby, urged me to please "think" about trying out voice acting since I'm a very animated human, lol. So here I am, stretching my wings. My sincere goal is to push away from Corporate life and reclaim a professional creative career, in hopefully VA. An ultimate goal would be to voice a character that I can also cosplay as - that would be EPIC!

My dream role/job would be one where I got to use my voice to INSPIRE! Stories in all of their forms are ways to inspire people to dream, use their imaginations, and sometimes even motivate them to accomplish amazing new feats. I would kill to play a character where someone could either see themselves or even see someone they hope to become, because I didn't grow up with great representation in media. So I am all for seeing the diversity in the various mediums. And as an outspoken voice for inclusivity in my own Nor Cal spaces... to possibly combine my passions...would be...life altering.
Side note: I want to play a villain SO BAD! I'm the nice human that brings people together in real life, but I desperately want to play the bad guy to allow my darker side out! Lmao I would absolutely want to play Rita Repulsa 🤣
