As Brother Jake is a ghoul, you should have a rasp like Gob from Fallout 3 as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ih7LuhAU7k&t=15s. If you do not have a ghoul rasp for your audition for Brother Jake, your audition will be disqualified. 

Record all audition lines while referring to the notes below for each line and do one take of each line. 

For the first audition line, you are calmly and nonchalantly describing how you became a prisoner. Although now your life has completely changed for the worse, enough time has passed that it doesn't hurt to recall the memory of that fateful event.

For the second audition line, you are sadly stating how bad the odds for yourself are currently. There is truly no hope for a better future. There seems to be no alternative but to passively watch the days pass by.
