For the first audition line, you are proudly declaring your passion for refinery and luxury. You want them to know the value of your goods. Additionally, you want the person to know how much you respect them and value their solidarity against the barbarity displayed in the wasteland. 

For the second audition line, you are trying to hold back the full disgust you have towards Junkflea still embracing the post-apocalyptic standards of living rather than seeking to better itself and its residents to become more civilized like yourself. You're trying to think happy thoughts and positives of the place so you don't launch into a full on one hour rant.
