The world in the BFDI movie is colorful, stylized, cartoony, and sometimes detailed, so the movie needs a background artist to create and finalize the backgrounds and color them. The backgrounds could be either detailed or cartoony or stylized or even realistic, but most importantly, they have to be colorful and use as many colors as they please.
