Tanoo is a member of Mayor Benchel’s council on Cyphar, and one of the conspirators in Nightswan’s plan to create strife between the human colonists and the planet’s natives, as well as to harvest and smuggle illegal spice from their territory. He should sound younger than the other council members, but far dimmer in wit.
“Ah. Yes, of course. The clan thing, you know? They just repeat what their leader says.”
“It wasn’t my idea! It was Polcery. She’s the one who came up with it. They forced me! I didn’t want to.”
“You’ll never prove it. The others are hiding all our product where no one will ever find it.”
