Monologue B-G-K: Many of you did not project as much in your week 2 monologue compared to your week 1. Please remember to continue to project, imagining that you are on a stage without a mic and that you need to ensure even the people in the back rows can hear you. This week, I would like everyone to really focus on their posture and breathing when reading. Ensure you have take a big diaphragmatic breath every time. Using breath marks should really help you when it comes to preparing your body to take that breath as well.

Appreciate you being honest and leaving the longer pauses in. I'd suggest challenging yourself and trying to see if you can use a slightly faster tempo when performing the dialogue. You can try going a little bit faster at a time until you hit a point where you feel like you can't keep up, then start dialing it back until you find a comfortable pace. Once you get used to that, you can start trying a slightly faster pace again. Other than that, the ad voice was great!

Timing wasn't necessarily an issue for me dialogue wise, but breath wise. It might have been easier to speed it up, actually. But keeping up with the consonants is another story, though. :) Thanks for the feedback, friend!

I love that you are being extra mindful of your enunciation. I think you have a little more in the projection area though. Try to plan out where you will be taking your breaths so that you avoid needing to take an awkward breath in the middle of a sentence.

Thank you! I definitely could benefit from printing out and marking the breaths like you mentioned in class.
