Tony has been sentenced to death for trying to survive. He is confused as to why he got such a sentence and fears the day his execution arrives.
Accent required - British, Welsh, Irish, American, Australian - I would prefer none British or American but these are perfectly acceptable.
Age range – 25-40
Tony needs to be able to portray worry, concern, relief, fear.
Line 1 - Tony has just been told he has been given the death sentence, even though his ruling initially was a prison sentence. Imagine the fear going through your mind if this has just been told to you and your fate is imminent.
Line 2 - Tony has just been told that there is a chance the death sentence could be lifted and the prison sentence re-enabled. Imagine how you would feel having the weight of death being lifted from your mind. He still has some worries, but now also hope.
Line 3 - After being given hope to hang on to, Tony is now being escorted to his execution. Imagine the fear that floods your mind should this happen to you. Five minutes ago you were happy with a prison sentence, now death is looming.

(Hope) Yeah. Please Ronald, do whatever you can I beg ya. I don't deserve this. Send me back to prison. Anything but death.
(Terrified) No please. Please don't do this. I only wanted to live. I only did what I had to, to survive. Please don't let it end like this.
I fully believe you but I took the chance in 2015 before this had to be unofficially cancelled due to events I speak of on my profile. They told me they would fix their issues but they never did. I have to go on what I hear here now I'm afraid.
Also, since it's part time voice acting, it's a good job you're auditioning for the four, possibly five, part miniseries. If you auditioned for the main show you could have been there anywhere up to 260-480 episodes lol.
Oh, Bob is not real. I heard it properly that time :P No problem, I like to offer feedback to those who audition. You all give your time to me so I like to give some back to you. People have had a dozen chances before, there can never be too many :)
Line 1 - I don't know if you can see who I've shortlisted so far, if you can I advise you check them out for this line as it still doesn't sound right. Not enough urgency. If you can't see the shortlisted auditions so far, look through some of the others and look for the feedback I praise. A few have got this completely perfect.
Line 2 - This was alright, although not very natural with the delivery. He sounded more disappointed. He needs worry and hope. As Line 1, look at the other auditions feedback.
Line 3 - Better but a little slow. Don't speed it up so much that the words are lost, but enough to let viewers know he is panicking. As line 1 and 2, check other auditions.
This is why I never mentioned the audio quality in the feedback. You told me the circumstances surrounding the reason at the beginning :)
Okay, if it's anything, I could give you a set date to go by. If that's not enough, I won't use up any more of your time. If that is enough, I'd like to say that I'm just having problems with it because it can be hard to derive motivation a character from a single line. Even with context. That is no fault of your own. It's simply how the site works. But that's probably the reason I'm having problems. If the date is enough, and it's not to much trouble, could you send or show me the page of at least one of the lines is on? That would help me a lot.
Listen to that. Apart from it being quiet, they got all 3 deliveries correct.
I must ask, while I'll definitely keep trying to get it right, it seems you already got people who have. Do you think I might do better for a different part? Or should I keep trying?
The more to choose from, the better. I don't settle on only one until the casting day arrives. I just linked you one of the better ones so far.
There's the three young lads, Billy, Trevor and Edward, but Edward needs a Scottish accent. Please look through the auditions though if you decide to try, and look at the feedback given to them. This will help you immensely.
