Englewood After Dark: Episode 15
Eliza Faye for Lily Cooper
Lily (28) is a nonrecurring role with approximately 16 lines. Lily is an Englewood alumni. When she attended Englewood in 2014, her girlfriend, Laurie, was murdered in her dorm room in what was eventually dubbed a ‘Locked Room Murder’. As Lily is canonically pansexual, queer actors are preferred for this role.
In this episode, Lily has been invited onto the podcast to retell the events of the night her girlfriend was killed, an understandably difficult time, but it has been almost eight years since the trauma, so she has an amount of clearheadedness about the ordeal too. She is the emotional heart of this episode.

Some old classmates of mine sent me a message saying you were covering… (Laurie’s case) well...if I can help in any way, I wanted to.
Laurie was the least confrontational person I’d ever met. Even if it meant quite literally running away, she'd avoid conflict at all costs. She wouldn't even let me fight on her behalf. If someone was angry at her she'd just apologize profusely until they went away, so it's hard to imagine a situation where she'd piss someone off that much.
(On leaving Laurie in the room when she was killed) I told her I was going to take a shower, she...offered to come with me and I...told her no. Said I needed to cool off and clear my head and that I'd be better after that, so I told her to stay behind...
