Hello! I am Kisara Garalde. I have been a musician, singer, actress, and music director in the DC Metro area for over 25 years and I am branching out into voice acting. I am a pianist(classically trained), vocalist(mezzo-soprano), and a drummer. I also dance a little in jazz, musical theater, and ballroom styles. My age range is 20-50 and my vocal range is C3-A5.

I studied and performed music and theater for over 25 years and music directed shows for over 15 years. I started learning to play piano at 5 years old, tried my hand at singing at 12 years old, started acting/dancing at 13 years old and by then had decided that this was the path I wanted to walk. One of my great pleasures in life is composing, creating, and sharing that appreciation of music and the arts. I studied music education and voice at the University of Maryland and during my time there, I had the pleasure of performing many wonderful pieces with the UM Symphonic Orchestra, UM Choirs, the University Jazz Band, and the National Symphony Orchestra. My favorite moment is a tie between Verdi’s Requiem and Bach's St. Matthew’s Passion performances.

I also spent over a 15 years as a music director and pit orchestra conductor, leading actors and musicians through shows like Ragtime, Cabaret, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Little Shop Of Horrors. I even dabbled in directing children’s theater shows with productions of Footloose and Annie. Working on live performances helped me to develop collaborative skills, performing directions given, and professional communication. I learned what it means to lead, the value of attention to details, and how to take chances and make bold choices.

I choose not to curse, love playing video games, love anime, love playing music, performing- serious and silly styles, ballroom dancing, streaming games on Twitch, science fiction and fantasy stories, and trying new things. I am excited to bring all that I have learned into a craft I have dreamed of being a part of for a long time.
