The Pharaoh figure who commands the Chain Chomps and rules from his palace in Dry Dry Ruins. He holds the star spirit Mamar captive.
I am looking for a low to medium-pitched voice with both ghostly and regal characteristics to it. Tutankoopa “haunts” Mario when in Dry Dry Ruins, but he often interrupts himself with side commentary, revealing that his “ooo spooky ghost”-type taunts are all but a showy facade. If you feel an accent would aid you in conveying this role, you are welcome to do so, but the default is American.

[A loud booming presence that is meant to scare the party away] Bleeag, Blooooaaaagh!! I'm the huge, scary Tutankoopa! Remorseless king of the desert! Who dares set foot in this, my palace of the sands? Speak and be known! Begone from this place! Now! Or disaster will befall you!
[Attempting to keep up the spooky facade, but hesitant and slowly breaking character.] Uh…? Wait! C’mon, don’t go in that room! … Ooops. Ahem! I mean… Flee now while you still can! If you continue…uh…you’ll feel a horrible curse!
[Fed up with MARIO going further.] You!! You ignored all those very scary warnings! Don't you have the common sense to get scared and run away? What's wrong with you!? You shouldn't mess with Tutankoopa, a faithful follower of King Bowser! Ooops... I mean… You shall regret this!
