Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth GAME FANDUB
Faux Synder for Kyoko Kuremi
Role Description
Being the cool-headed detective mentor of Takumi and the head of the Kuremi Detective Agency, she has a mature and composed voice, incredibly rarely raising her voice. Through objective deductions rivaling that of the greatest minds humanity has ever seen, she has earned many a title and infamy in Nakano. Of course, being a detective, Kyoko tends to be a little too objective at times… Still, she has a joking and teasing side to her as well, especially towards Takumi and his friends.
I would like a mature and mid-low pitched voice for her, as well as someone who can switch between the teasing side and the detective side easily.
Character Description
Kyoko was the one who rescued Takumi while he was stranded in the middle of Akihabara, having lost all his physical features and having become a vaguely human-shaped mass of data. Despite his odd circumstances, she stayed calm and helped him regain his avatar’s data from EDEN– though that, of course, was only a temporary solution. After all, having an avatar is a far cry from having an actual physical body.
Thus, she took Takumi on as her apprentice, asking for his help with cases in return for her to help him find a cure to his EDEN Syndrome. Now, with Takumi’s unique skill set, the two have become a power duo that strikes fear in all cyber-criminals that dare threaten EDEN.
She is horrible at making coffee, her concoctions being notoriously bad and almost killing Takumi and Arata. Does she know how bad they are? No one but her knows…
- female young adult
[Finding the not even human looking pile of data that is Takumi, yet not even fazed.] I’m more used to strange phenomena than most… But I’ve never seen the likes of this before. Can you hear my voice? Are you able to speak? …Ah, that’s good. Frankly, I wasn’t sure what I would have done had you not even been human.
[Trying to figure out how to help Takumi. Entertained, slightly aloof.] I’ve had a good look at you, and you truly are a mass of data. A true digital body. Yet you hear my voice, sit on my sofa, talk to me… all proof that you obey physical laws. A digital body with real-life characteristics… Let’s call it a “half-cyber” body, why don’t we? (Giggle)
[Serious, talking about the possibility of a war.] …Yes, things might just get out of hand if we keep this up. Think about it– self-defense or not, you destroyed the secret weapon of another country’s military. If this gets out, then we’ll have two huge issues: One. They might come after you, as you knowing their secrets is… very detrimental to them. Two… They might come after Japan as a whole, suspecting us to have stolen the weapon only to destroy it as it began to rebel.
