The Curse of Aishavik
DHowiedoit for Kirik
Kirik - Male/Main Protagonist
Kirik (Key-rick), a stoic, rough and tumble man from Solari, who is the host of a troubling past. He was raised by outlaws, thieves, and even murderers, and the beginning of his life was difficult at best. Most of it was spent on the run, and in his early days he stole many things — both belongings and lives. This lifestyle diluted after meeting Bahari, and after they married and he became the father to two boys. Nowadays he lives the life of a fisherman, and instead of crime his passion now lies astride a beaten down boat, where he dreams of sailing the seas. His voice should be low and bassy, with this hint of youth thrown into the mix. His voice should warp into sounding extra warm when addressing and conversing with his family and friends.

"Me? Well, there's not much to tell. Orphan, raised by rouges and cutthroats. Y'know. A usual childhood."
"Psssh. He'll be fine, Bahari. That's how kids grow. They make mistakes, get hurt, maybe, and they learn. Let him have his fun, I say. Hell, that's how I grew up."
"Son of a-! No. No more bone puns. None. If I hear you say one more, well-? Well… *sigh.* Dammit, I dunno. Can we get 10 minutes of peace and quiet? Can you manage at least that? 10 small, measly minutes?"
I like your voice, and you're pretty spot on with your understanding of the character too, but this isn't quite what we're looking for in terms of tone. We really want something deep, that exudes this level of "coolness" if you will. Would you maybe be interested in trying out for Kirik's dad? I think your voice would be a good fit for him.
All good, appreciate the feedback! And you got it. I’ll throw in an audition for Kirik’s dad here in the next few days.
