Crossbone - Male/Supporting Protagonist

Crossbone, whose actual name is Kryss (Chris), is a bizarre character from a broken home, with a passion to become like the father he knows nearly nothing about. He's obsessed with bones, addicted even, and expresses that fact in nearly every way he can, beginning with his cooky, pun infested way of speech, and ending with his general appearance. Despite his loud personality and at times seemingly charismatic way of talking, he's very reserved and sensitive. His voice should sound deep and almost gruff, and snap and almost voice crack when talking of bones/puns.

  • "You hit me right in the funny bone… then again, ALL OF MY BONES ARE FUNNY BONES! HAHAHAHA!"

  • "On average there are approximately 206 to 213 bones in a person's body, and me, friendo? Why, hehe… I'VE GOT A PUN FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF 'EM!"

Oh, boy. I really like how theatrical you've made him here. The laughs are really good, too. In the event that you're chosen, do you think you'd be able to speak a bit more casually and quieter while still keeping a similar energy? Crossbone will be quite sporadic and loud most of the time, yes, but he'll also have moments where he's more down to earth and less all over the place. We need someone who can do both, and who can easily swap between the two.

Thank you! Yes, I can do that. Would you like me to submit another audition using the last line and changing between those volumes?

      VolcanikToaster

If you'd like to, sure, yeah. Having a more clear idea as to how you'd be able to transition would definitely help us make a decision.

Of course! I'll go ahead and submit an extra line then.
