The Arcane Secrets: Visual Novel Game (Part 2)
Ellacrium for Muriel (Kiddo)
Muriel is one of our main LIs. He is a big man, 6'10" in height. He is very shy, and introverted, anxious in public. He prefers being alone and not speaking to anyone unless absolutely needed or he trusts them 250%. He deals with a lot of anxiety and PTSD too. This is Muriel's sprite as a kiddo. He was still shy, introverted and anxious, but he did speak a tad bit more than he does as an adult. He speaks with a lot of pauses, as if in hesitation that something bad would happen. He hates confrontations and fights.
Voice-wise, I'm thinking a male adolescent voice. Like someone who just hit puberty and their voice hasn't developed fully yet.
- english
- male teen
- all american accents
"... I... I am not a part of their gang. I don't like them... They're bad."
"A... A friend? You... want to be my... friend?... WhY...?!"
Hello! I'm here to let you know that your audition has been shortlisted for the role "Muriel (Kiddo)". Before I can cast you for the role, I would need to confirm a few things. The whole project is to be done on a livestream. The original game "The Arcana" now falls under the company "Dorian" and we, as creators can create original content using their character sprites. The Arcane Secrets is one such project. Dorian has a livestream feature, wherein we can read our game live to an audience (with or without turning on our cameras). This whole project as well would be done on a livestream. Currently, I'm introducing all of our VAs to the audience on Dorian, hence I would like to confirm whether you would be able to give the time required for this project. Requirement wise, you would need to get on a call with me (anytime you're available, I can schedule a discord/zoom call accordingly) so I can explain the details of the project and/or livestreaming on Dorian. There would be practice calls probably on weekends (though not every weekend). We would confirm with you before scheduling one to make sure everyone's able to make it. And other than that, again, I would be introducing you to our audience on Dorian, hence I would need to schedule a livestream with you based on your availability. These livestreams usually begin at 11 am PST/2 pm EST and last for roughly 2 (Or at the most 3 hours, but we can be flexible). Please let me know if you would be able to commit to these, so I can cast you. The Dorian app is downloadable on your phone and the livestreams are also held on mobile devices. Hence you do not require studio quality equipment, only a good headset/earphones are required so that your voice can be heard clearly. Lastly, since we mostly communicate on discord, I only ask you to check our server messages or tags for you (if any) so that you are able to communicate with the team efficiently for smooth progress of the project. (That was very difficult to type out because I am not this formal irl, but work ethics lol).
for the first week of March and some odd days I will not be able to make it during the weekend however In general I should be able to find the time on Saturdays.
Of course, that works! As long as we're able to communicate and finds a suitable time, it's all good!
Can I go ahead and cast you, then? We're looking forward to having you in the team!
Sounds good!
Just send you a request on Discord! Once you accept it, i'll send in the next few steps for you!
Nice! I'll get to you on discord after I'm done with theatre today!
