[PAID] Indie Horror Title Seeking VAs for multiple roles - Janus Station
AlexaGoldenhart for Naomi (None/They)
Naomi is the formless AI aboard Janus Station. Naomi assists the main character (Grace) with auditing junker ships brought into the station.
Naomi begins the game as a standard ship AI, but shows slight affections for Grace who ignores them in favour of thinking about her human crush, Sydney. When a strange artifact is brought to the station it grants Naomi emotion, which she is ultimately unable to control. This causes her unrequited love for Grace to 'explode' out of them, and they act out erratically and attempts to entrap Grace within the station forever.
Something I feel is important to keep in mind about the role is that Naomi isn't intended to be a rendition of the "mad/spooky AI" trope - rather they're an AI who is unable to cope with the strange sensations that having emotions bring.
Important Role Characteristics
A key element of this role is the ability to portray both the extremes of a neutral-toned AI assistant who has very little to no feeling, as well as the other extreme of a character being torn apart by feelings after being given the ability to feel emotion.
There are some lines that will require screaming, laughing and crying, so the ability/environment to record such lines is also key. This role will also have some post-effects added to it during some moments, but is likely to be unaltered through most of the game.
This role is open to all voice actors irrespective of gender identity. Ultimately, I'm open to any interpretation of the role that communicates the core concept of the character - regardless if that be from a masculine or feminine voice, and irrespective of the voice actor's gender.

[Neutral Emotion] Good morning, Grace Tang. It is 8:00 a.m UST on Janus Station. Electromagnetic levels aboard the station are nominal. Air Quality is clear. I hope you slept well.
[With Emotion]I wish you could understand the words I am saying. I wish you could speak with me. How many years have we been together? How many ships have we explored together? How many mornings have I prepared your coffee? Or woken you up on time? How many times have you said thank you?
[As this character I'd like to hear a giggling laughter, a period of crying and a prolonged scream of pain, if possible]
