Hello, My name is Jason. I voice characters for fun, because there's only so much excitement to be found in reading text boxes in video games in your head. Adds a little bit of flavor to the text, you know? Now that I've told you my origin story, I hope you have a better understanding of why I'm here: to bring more otherwise-lifeless texts (no offense, text-writers) to, well, life.
These are my first few months in the voice acting world, and I'm learning more and more about this peculiar profession as the days go by. My other hobbies include writing, gaming, watching informational videos (mostly about science trivia, video games and the human mind) and generally trying to put myself into the minds of other people. Guess that makes me a method actor, now that I think about it.
I do various types of voices, from panicky cowards to gruff, seen-it-all veterans, but my personal favorite voice is that of sarcastic, carefree characters. Be they good or evil, I always feel in my element when voicing these (most of the time) lovable rogues. Oh, and villains! Oh, why does it feel so good to be bad? (thanks for the song lyric, David Guetta)
I suppose I'll have more to share as I progress my career in voice work. Until then, I hope that I will bring nothing but my best performances to the table. If there's something I have in abundant supply these days, it's unrestrained passion, and I'd like to put it to good use, especially during these trying times.
So yeah, that's me in a nutshell. Be seein' ya.
