"The experience wasn’t for nothing though, as many of the same principles and codes of conduct were recalled once again as I went through the Police Academy. After twenty-six long weeks of rigorous training I ended up joining one of the most elite special operations groups in the country. The Special Tactics And Rescue Service, or “S.T.A.R.S” as they call it for short, was formed in collaboration with Raccoon City’s Mayor Michael Warren and Raccoon City Police Department’s Chief Brian Irons. The team is made up of those who hold various backgrounds from military to medical and everything in between. Each one of us was carefully selected for one reason or another but, in short, we are the best at what we do."
