Pokémon: Battle Club
givilago for Bonnie
Bonnie is a rich kid. Not incredibly rich, but enough for her to not realize how much privilege she has. In the beginning of the series, we won't see much of her other than her battling but she has a story arc with the character, Taylor, who she gets mistaken for. We later find out that they are actually related and that Bonnie's father had an secret love child with Taylor's mom. Bonnie tries to save their friendship, desperately.
[Bonnie is introducing herself to Brooke who is confused because her and Taylor look the same despite not being twins or sisters]
Bonnie: I'm Bonnie!
[Brooke couldn't distinguish who was Brooke and who was Taylor from their voices so Bonnie is clarifying] (annoyed)
Bonnie: No, I'M Bonnie.
[Bonnie finds Taylor participating in underground battles for money and is concerned, but Bonnie lives a privileged life and doesn't understand the struggles Taylor has to go through] (desperate)
Bonnie: What are you doing? It's dangerous down here, Taylor! Who knows what shady stuff happens during these... "events".
