Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue
Lamz for British Lad Finding Himself
This character tends to be cautious around others, never trying to be imposing or unpleasant, always trying to appease everyone around him. He’s more on the fragile side, but can be brave when the situation demands it. He also has a flirty side.
A pushover learning the ropes of the world, whichever rope it may be. On whatever path life will put him on, he will adapt to it and eventually embrace it.
“Guys, I'm serious, there's no need to be so upset. Let's get our heads in the game and we can surely do this!”
“Good point. Lets see... eh... any… volunteers?”
“Yes, of course. We are here alone. What's on your mind?”
“M-my, my, I didn't just make you blush, did I?. You are so cute when you smile like that.”
“It’s just… too much, I don’t know if I can deal with this right now!”
“I can’t believe… they did this to her. N-no… p-please! I beg you! Breathe, please, breathe!”
“No, I think I know exactly what I want. It just so happens to be in that suitcase. It’s best if you hand it over, now!”
As I'm new to this, any tips and criticism is welcome.
There's a few tips I've heard that may benefit you if you're planning on going further with voice over. First one is mic quality, most paid projects want you to have an xlr mic and audio interface in a sound treated room, second you don't need to introduce yourself and some directors will skip you outright if your audition starts that way, and lastly those first two don't matter if you can't act, so practicing your acting first is a good starting point. I'm not trying to discourage you or anything by the way, I'm just trying to pass along useful info that no one told me when I first started.
