  • At 4;30 pm on the evening of Monday the 28th, police were called here, to Lloyds Bank Oxford Street, as a group of unknown individuals took staff and many members of the public hostage.

  • Investigators believe they had smuggled in days prior under the guise of workmen renovating the bank’s upper floors.

  • However, the events of yesterday are still shrouded in mystery.
