Who knew that trying to have just a little fun would result in the worst of consequences? Serena Young is an excitement-loving tennis player with a loving family and sweet exterior. Her birthday happens to fall on the night you meet her, when she is turning 21 and is experiencing the nightclub for the first time. However, on this night, her girlfriend and little sister are on their way to pick her up from the Nightshade Nightclub to bring her to a surprise dinner with her family. On their drive to Serena, they are involved in a tragic car accident, killing not only the two in the other car, but also Serena's closest loved ones. Despite this, Serena doesn't seem to drop her fun-loving and sweet attitude. Is there another person beneath this kind face who is familiar with death, or are you reading too far into her?
Serena has a very warm, gentle, and kind voice. She's easy to upset, however, and we need someone to show her wide range of emotions and sweet attitude. Please record 3 takes per line.
“Hey there, sweetie. You alright? You’re looking a little pale. Here, why don’t you sit down and let’s get you some water. Name’s Serena, by the way.”
[angry-crying] "What, you think that’s a threat? You think I haven’t already lost everything? You think I haven’t stared down the bottom of a bottle and laughed my way out of Hell? You’re nothing. Just another pathetic, small little man who thinks he’s worth something because he calls girls whores when they won’t sleep with him. Get out of my face.”
