A kind-hearted being who is conflicted and guilt-burdened about his past actions. He does not wish to harm humans, but feels he must do so in order to instill hope to the monsters that one day they can live on the surface. This results in him feeling miserable, forced to put on a smile for the kingdom's residents while dealing with the regret of his past actions and pressure of fulfilling his proposed goal. Simply put, he desires for things to go back to how they were before, or to amend his past by forming a new family with the protagonist. Despite his internal emotional conflicts, he is not the most intellectual of monsters, openly evident with regard to how he is with naming things.

(Comforting and proud with a fatherly tone. Despite the Age category, looking for a more middle-age sounding voice with perhaps a more senior infliction. It must be stated that this is the ideal voice, but don't stray too far off from those descriptors).
