While he believes himself to be the strongest warrior in the land, Zote is found trapped by weak enemies or claiming the glory of another bug's deeds. He regards the Knight as beneath him and accuses them of constantly getting in his way. Zote genuinely believes most of his lies, as for example, he once thought to himself the following: "Foolish beast... you dulled your mandibles by gnawing on my indestructible body. No wonder you were defeated by this weakling!"

For Hallownest Vocalized, there are a number of roles which I would like to be as close as possible to the original voice, and Zote the Mighty is one of those. For your audition, you must accurately translate Zote’s ingame voice and speech patterns into English dialogue, which you can listen to here: https://youtu.be/ob9OeUm6yaU. 

Understanding that Zote is a delusional, overconfident and egotistical person is not too difficult; the main challenge is copying Zote’s voice. In your audition, you may add effects to help replicate Zote’s voice, but please submit your raw audio as well (no effects add). From the video showing Zote’s in-game voice, his normal conversation voice can be heard at “0:10 - 0:25” and “0:54 - 1:25”.

For this role, I’m looking for someone who can both replicate his voice and is talented in their voice acting performance. If you feel you can only meet one of these requirements, still feel free to audition. You still could be picked for the role, and the more options I acquire the better.
