Danny Johnson is the main antagonist of the podcast. He ranges from mildly annoying internet troll at best to a silent killer that takes out major characters at worst. Either way, he's a major narcissist and psychopath. His goal is to convince the killers to keep on killing because he's a murder nerd who wont be satisfied until all eyes are on him.
ACTING NOTES: I need him to ooze charm and charisma despite being a despicable person. Ghostface, out of all the DBD killers, has by far the most...."dedicated"...fan base. (They're all in love with him and want him to stab them. Myself included.) So yeah, try your best to be a sort of "lovable sociopath."
Good evening everyone. My name is Danny Johnson. But you probably know me as...the Ghost Face.
Why the judgement? Sometimes humans are just bored into being murderers. No, no. Not born. BORED.
Human lives...they’re just so dreadfully dull and boring. Going to college, getting married, working a 9 to 5...it’s all so….average. The monotony of life makes it unbearable to live. I was a normal person, you know. Your average Joe. Your average Jed. That is….until I decided to fight back against my boredom. I gave myself a reason to live. My reason to live...is to kill!
I am curing my sickness. The entity’s realm is my dark hospital. I am a doctor, curing my patients of their insufferable boredom. And I get great satisfaction from doing so. I’m doing them a favor by putting all of these people out of their misery. I’m the hero here. Not you two.
You both want to leave the entity’s realm and go back to...what? Your dead end job at auto haven, Wraith? Your loneliness and shame as the Macmillan heir, Trapper? Almost every survivor and killer was swept up into the fog after experiencing great lostness. The entity has saved us from our existential hopelessness and given us a new reason to live. A BETTER reason to live! The trials, the sacrifice, the MURDER of it all….it’s just….so….thrilling! I don’t see how anyone would WANT to leave. Which is why I tried so hard to convince you guys that you’d be much happier being murderers. I know I am. And I know you two still feel that darkness in you that wants to sin. Do it. Be it. Revel in it! Ahahahaaaa!
I went to Brigham Young University and studied Journalism. I had a knack for storytelling, an affinity for critical thinking, and a flair for the dramatic, so I graduated valedictorian. Impressive, right? What’s even MORE impressive is that I managed to kill the competition and get away with it, all while maintaining my 5.1 GPA. Anything’s possible with a little ambition. :)
I also forgot to mention that my Dead by Daylight experience & enjoyment of the game is huge! I absolutely love the game & play it at least once every day & are also well aware of the stories/backgrounds from each survivor/killer so I suppose I'm kind of a super fan haha.
