Goofy is a single dad who takes care of his son Max, but is a tad silly and clumsy. Often embarasses Max but outwardly expresses how much he cares for him. Bonus points if you can do the Goofy yell, but its not necessary to include in your audition. Here is the audition video for reference:

Goofy: (documenting) Day one: Well, here we are. Out on the open road! Retracin' the steps of my boyhood. (show host like) And here's Maxie! Ahyuk! Say hi, Max! (pause) Well, how about a wave?
[Max: Not now, dad.]
Goofy: (happily) Ahyuk! What a kidder!(Starts quiet and calm, and slowly gets louder and more excited as the cast is made)
Goofy: Okay now, watch carefully. You gotta be loose. Relaxed. With your feet apart, and... Ten o'clock. Two o'clock. Quarter to three! Tour Jete! Twist! Over! Pas de deux! I'm a little teapot! And the windup...(pauses) And let 'er fly!!! The Perfect Cast!Goofy: (yelling) I was only tryin' to take my boy fishin', okay?!
[I'm NOT your little boy anymore, Dad! I've grown up! I've got my own life now!]Goofy: (exasperated) I know that! (defeated) I just wanted to be part of it!
{pause}Goofy: (somber) You're my son, Max. No matter how big you get, you'll always be my son.
