Vortex is not much of a combative fighter, but this gleeful helicopter loves to take on Autobots with his magnetic grapples and his eagerness to go out for a fight. It's because of this eagerness that Onslaught keeps him around so they can form Bruticus.

The voice for Vortex needs to sound similar to Ransack from Transformers Cybertron to show his comedic glee but still show he is still a threat to the Autobots and Rangers.
