CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

As an accidental child, John has faced much neglect from his mother. He had to find comfort on his own, and he found that comfort through making things. This started with doodles he would show to his mother if she ever took the time to notice. On the rare occasion his mother would show some form of approval or appreciation, John craved approval from other people more and more, if only to feel a bit more special. 

There are still remnants of child-like wonder, but much of it has been stilted by constant rejection from his mother. Thus his childish voice is not as loud and playful as others his age; it is relatively low (for a child, anyway), like he is afraid to appear too passionate about anything. After all, his passions have never seen any sort of support.
