Her most popular role is a magical girl character she voices called Melody Pretty. The fame she got from playing Melody Pretty got into her head, causing Maiko to convince herself that she is in fact Melody Pretty. She acts like Melody Pretty, she dresses like Melody pretty, she only eats foods Melody Pretty ate in the anime. Will Maiko one day be able to remember who she was before she convinced herself she was a magical girl?
