Your Lie in April Scene Fandubs
Bryan Ha for Takeshi Aiza
Takeshi is a pianist of the same age as Kousei. His aim was always to catch up and surpass Kousei on the piano since watching him play at a young age. His resolve is so strong to the point that Takeshi would even abandon an invitation for a piano competition in Europe in order to compete with Kousei. To Takeshi, Kousei was like his "hero". Takeshi is brash, energetic, and sometimes throws unnecessarily insults, but he is fixated on and determined to bring Kousei back to the world of music.
(reflecting, talking internally) "Heroes are powerful. Heroes are lonely... and they walk off alone in the final scene. He was just like that too."
(encouraging) "Hey, we're musicians. So everything's gotta be expressed in music, right?"
I’m not sure what it is about the voice, but it really isn’t giving me Takeshi vibes. There’s absolutely nothing wrong technically! In fact, you’ve done very well here! Your quality sounds great, your emotions are awesome, I just don’t think this is the voice I’m looking for, unfortunately. Good luck in your future endeavors, best of luck!
Thank you so much for your feedback and for complimenting me even though it's not the right voice for you. I wish you luck in this project and I look forward to seeing the final product.
You have a very dramatic way of saying things that's not very realistic, by anime standards even. Your cadence doesn't sound natural: for example, a real person would not say the sentence, "he was just like that, too" like "He was just. just like that...... too." Also note that the way you speak isn't so much emotional as it is maniacal--you sound like a villain who has a lap-cat that they like to pet.
I didn't say just twice, but I totally get what you mean. Thank you so much for your feedback. I'll keep that in mind in my future auditions.
pardon my typo but you get my drift. Glad I can help and hope I didn't come off like a jerk, wasn't meant that way
Yeah of course, I got your Tokyo Drift
