Your Lie in April Scene Fandubs
Andy Liang for Takeshi Aiza
Takeshi is a pianist of the same age as Kousei. His aim was always to catch up and surpass Kousei on the piano since watching him play at a young age. His resolve is so strong to the point that Takeshi would even abandon an invitation for a piano competition in Europe in order to compete with Kousei. To Takeshi, Kousei was like his "hero". Takeshi is brash, energetic, and sometimes throws unnecessarily insults, but he is fixated on and determined to bring Kousei back to the world of music.
(reflecting, talking internally) "Heroes are powerful. Heroes are lonely... and they walk off alone in the final scene. He was just like that too."
(encouraging) "Hey, we're musicians. So everything's gotta be expressed in music, right?"
I think you should perhaps stand further away from the microphone when reading lines. I've heard a hand shape in a teacup holding form from pinky (towards mic) to thumb (towards you) is a good distance to be from the mic (speaking at normal volume). Being closer to the mic can give your voice a richer sound, but being too close can weird (an extreme use of the proximity effect is live bass-boosting sound effects, you may have noticed).
Yeah that's definitely fair. I think it may be a case of misused EQ and compression on my part though, but thanks for the heads up
honest I don't know how to use eq and compression so I use eq only sometimes.
