Ryota Watari is one of the main characters of Your Lie in April. Watari is a bit of a play-boy as he seems to prefer girls who are "cute", demonstrated as he comments that when he sees Kaori Miyazono for the first time he stated that Tsubaki Sawabe did a good job on finding a cute looking girl. But really, Watari is a fragile boy.
(conversational) "Damn, Kousei, talk about collateral damage. Not only did you get yelled at, but you have to write two letters of apology?"
(impressed) "So she struck yet again, huh?"
(exaggeratedly amazed) "A violinist!? That's awesome!"
