Sweet Leaf is the co-owner of The Sweet Roast Cafe, which she runs with her husband Fine Roast. Sweet Leaf is a happy, enthusiastic, and smart girl, but sometimes is a little bubbly. She's a caring wife and is easy to talk to, even though she's a bit sarcastic at times. However, when she's around others of her kind (other changelings), her personality reverts to her (Firefly's) style.

Firefly is a serious, but not stoic, female changeling and is genuinely smart and logical. She tends to care for and take under her wing those who are of lesser experience than her. After years of posing as someone else and acting as someone's wife, deep down, she's begun to wish she could have that love for herself. She tries to deny it as her kind isn't allowed such things.

Sweet Leaf has 1,918 words and Firefly has 2,476 words. Together, her VA will have 4,394 words. The timing for Sweet Leaf is 10 minutes and 40 seconds, and Firefly's lines take about 13 minutes and 46 seconds to read. Added together, this is about 24 and a half minutes of talking from her VA. Sweet Leaf has 151 lines and Firefly has 147 lines. Combined, her VA will have 298 lines to read.

Sweet Leaf's voice: Authentic, Approachable, Conversational, Believable, Intelligent, Happy, Housewife; Firefly's voice: Authentic, Commanding, Authoritative, Genuine, Intelligent, Engaging, Helpful

  • [as Sweet Leaf, to High Marks] Sorry, sir. This is a first-come, first-serve cafe and you still have a couple orders in front of you. [...] I'm sorry. That's not how this shop works and the longer you keep me from the station, the longer it's going to take me to get your drink.

  • [as Firefly, to Tarsus] Perhaps you're right. We do talk and behave a bit like ponies. I think you're exaggerating a bit much, but after being submerged in a culture for so long, one is bound to pick up some of their habits. (Tarsus: "Maybe I could see that for you or Skitter
(gesturing to each) But Spindle just came from the hive, she shou...") [Firefly; interrupting] Oh come off it! She's new and she just got into the real world. I'm sure you remember it being a lot different from training. She's learning how we behave at these meetings and is trying to be part of our group.

  • [as Sweet Leaf, happy tone, in response to Cherry Custard asking "So we're good? It's just us?"] It sure is. Roast is still out on a business trip and I shooed the last customer out a little over an hour ago. Have a seat at the table and feel free to make yourself at home! I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to make myself a cappuccino while we talk. Would you like one as well? [condensed and adapted from the actual script]

Very nice. Your acting is great, as is giving Sweet Leaf and her changeling self two different voices. However, the only concern I might have is your audio quality. (Environment, or microphone, or other equipment.) Other than that, it's great. Thank you for your audition!

Hello, I really appreciate you giving feedback to almost everyone because we are always asking for it but hardly ever receive advice. However, I am confused about your comment, can you explain? I use a professional Blue Yeti mic and a windscreen for breathiness and pop sounds, with no background noise in a quiet room.

I think they mean that the audio still has ambiant nosie (white noise?) in the recording. If you listen to the the parts where you don't speak, there is a quiet hiss or static noise you can hear. This happens if you boost your gain too much or higher the volume after recording. You can reduce this in audio editing softwear or perhaps record with lower mic input and speak louder. I hope this helps. ^_^

You're right, I can hear a little bit of noise. Thank you, thank you!

What AliCatGamer said is correct. Sorry for my delay!

Thanks for that; I was away from my computer for a bit and didn't have time to respond to this until now.
