Deadlock is a master assassin and one of the Decepticon's best troops. Unlike many of Megatron's soldiers, he has a strict code of honor and doesn't kill just for the fun of it. Now on Earth, Deadlock may have to come to the realization that his loyalties lie more with the Autobots than the Decepticons...

If you know your Transformers lore pretty well, then you probably know where this storyline is heading. Deadlock must sound neutral enough to come across as relate-able and sympathetic to the audience. If he comes across as evil, then the story won't work.
