[Whistles] “Hiro’s really takin’ a beating this time around. Thanks to him, though, the lepusians have thinned out a bit above ground so we should be able to get in and out quick and dirty.”

“Stop messing around. What are you even looking at here? You can't even read.”

This is My 2nd Take of Jiro

I'm not sure which of the two you wanted me to review, of if you wanted me to cover both, so I figured I'd review the second since it sounds like you've changed some things and improved the overall quality of the audition. Seriously, I'm impressed with the improvement, even without my review XD. Let me start out by pointing out the things I like: Your audio clarity is much better in this. I'm not sure if it's because of compression methods, moving to a new location or what-have-you, but whatever you're doing, keep it up! Another improvement is that I can tell you really took your time to review the lines this time. You're reading is much better compared to the last recording and you don't trip up over that middle section like you did before - so kudos! As for the negatives - there aren't too many, and the ones that are there are really common between everyone else. I'll start off by saying, like myself, you come out as very monotone, which is tough for people to listen to. If your lines get long-winded, people can lose interest in the dialogue attached to the voice and end up really missing some important information. This is also a mistake professionals made back when anime dubbing was brand-spanking new. Another thing you might want to work on is clearer enunciation of your words. Some of them tend to slur together, especially when you're not used to speaking in the manner the lines are written. For auditions and in some cases, even recording, you're allowed to ad-lib a majority of the lines to better fit your speech pattern, but in the event a director asks you to read as written, you should practice reading out loud and saying tongue twisters for that moment to really shine.

Thanks for the feedback, the reason why my audios better in this is because I was using wireless microphone that started out good but then went bad so I digged out my aux cable and recorded with my iPhone. ( surprisingly good quality but the cable's only like 4 inches long )
