About Shawn Murphy

My name is Shawn Patrick Murphy and I've been a Theatre artist for about eight years now. I recently achieved my Bachelor's of Science in Theatre Performance from Northwest Missouri State University and have been professionally acting since my graduation in May 2018. 


I've always been known by my peers, family, and friends for doing funny voices, unique dialects, and sometimes decent impressions! I'm looking to get more into Voiceover work as it has been a dream of mine since I was just a kid watching cartoons and playing video games.

I still have a lot to learn but I'm ready and willing to put in the work to make my dream a reality!

I'm a very patient actor and I take direction well. I also accept any suggestions or constructive criticisms as well. Particularly in the audio recording and editing field as I have only some slight experience and education in audacity and have invested in a beginner microphone and interface. (MPM - 1000 Condenser Microphone and a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 interface)
