Sara Dunham
Sara Dunham
@sara-dunhamExperienced voice actress, specialising in mid-low pitch with a variety of accents and vocal textures to choose from!
My name's Sara! I'm a native, British based voice talent with a good few years experience in the voice acting industry. I have a fairly wide pitch range (Mezzo-Soprano / Contralto or mid-high to low), and a fair few accents that I can perform comfortably. I'm also eager to learn new accents and possibly even new dialects, if it's necessary!
I took this quick (6 week) course with a friend, in between VA 101 and VA 201. It was interesting to hear another VA's perspective and teaching method. Though it was largely similar to Closing Credit's course, it felt like an extra clarification hearing from another experienced voice actor. Rachael is a great talent and it was fun learning from her.
I enrolled in this course shortly after 101 finished because I loved the first course, with Deb, so much!
Great information, great insight, amazing practice sessions and homework material. I learnt so much just from 101 and 201 that I've been able to get past a plateau I'd been sitting on for a couple of years.
I very much recommend these classes! I don't have much experience with other teachers, but Deb has been amazing and I can't sing enough praises about her.
Thank you Buford, Deb, and everyone who spent time putting together this material and for making it so much fun!
I'd already been doing voice acting for about 4-5 years before taking this course, but I felt I needed to get some more, expert knowledge in order to continue to grow.
Deb was, and still is, absolutely amazing. I'm so happy to have had the chance to learn under her and to continue to have contact with her.
100% Recommend!
I took this class to continue my journey in the voice acting world, and through the Closing Credits courses.
When I first started the course I wasn't quite sure what to expect as I had taken the previous two with Deb Munro, so I was both nervous and excited about learning under John Wang.
My first two classes weren't really a good experience for me, as it's early hours of the morning by the time the class starts and there was around 10-15 minutes spent on each person's performance (in a class of 20+), so I ended up having to sleep before I even got the chance to speak. The second class was much of the same, and overall I found that John's teaching method didn't really gel well with me and it wasn't really quite what I envisioned. Couple this with some life circumstances at that time, I stopped paying attention after the second class and hadn't attended the majority of the course. However, there is the option of watching the classes back, once you've paid for your course, through the online portal, so I can always go back and watch those classes!
In short, John Wang is an excellent talent with a vast amount of knowledge and I don't mean any disrespect to him, however it wasn't really what I was looking for at the time. I do wish I had more opportunity to learn under him/with him, but my time zone difference is also partially to blame for this. Had I given the rest of the classes more time/time zones not been an issue and circumstance been different, I likely would have had a different opinion.
I will still recommend these courses, because there is so much to be learned regardless, and my experience overall (From 101 through 301) has been more than positive!
My rates for most indie developers can be found Here.
Main-stream rates, including buyout fees, etc., will be discussed with the client on terms of their budget, project scale and needs.
Video games are my passion and what I find the most enjoyable to work on, with animations a close second and nature or science documentaries third. I may take unpaid work if the project is something close to my heart (League of Legends, Warcraft, Final Fantasy, Sword Art Online, Poison Ivy and possibly more)

Honestly, one of the best human beings I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Not only is she a fantastic and dedicated actor, she is probably the most down-to-earth person I've had the pleasure of knowing. She will give you a variety of excellent performances - I had no idea Sara was British until I actually spoke with her on Discord! Warm, personable and wickedly funny - I'm glad to call Sara not only a regular contributor to my future projects, but a good friend as well. Cast this girl!

This voice actress has a pleasant voice, she seems to be professional and responsible. She provided me with a variated recordings, so there was no need to rerecord anything. I was happy to work with her. She was a voice actress for Lara Croft in my fan project, but I guess she can do any kind of female voice. Recommended.

Sara is enormously talented! I cast her in a project and couldn't be happier with her work. First things first; her voice and many voices are awesome. If you are reading this, check out her many auditions, you won't be disappointed. Next, she communicates quickly. Every time I asked her anything , she responded almost immediately. Lastly, her work is phenomenal and she provided her lines in no time at all and they were flawless. I can't recommend her enough!

Sara Is one of those, professional voice actors, that is so impressive, you will regret not having more lines for her.
She is able to transform into character with ease and is able to deliver lines with no error, and, in relatively no time at all.
I enjoyed our time working together and consider her professional tier. -

Honestly, what more can I say about Sara? Lovely human, wonderful actor and very versatile - pulling double duty in my most recent project. Honestly, even as director/editor there are times I thought her two roles were played by different people :P Sara is more than welcome to be a part of my projects - cast her and you'll be be choosing wisely.

From the moment I was able to review Sara's various auditions for one of my projects it became immediately obvious that she is a talented voice actress with impressive range and vocal quality control.
Top-tier audio quality, top-tier performances, easy to direct, excellent turnaround time, and many other qualities make Sara Dunham an excellent audition to any project and you'd be lucky to have her.

@jackofknives
Sara's work was amazing, she sounded exactly as i needed her to with minimal direction. She gave me the issue of not being able to choose from the many great takes she recorded, I highly recommend her and can't thank her enough for her portrayal of Rask.

It was an honor to work with Sara as the voice of Nina Williams in my Mugen video game. she brought her own take of the female assassin to the game. She very nice, able to get along with others, and deliver her lines on time.

Sara is an incredible voice actor to work with! From the short time we've worked together I can say she's nice, kind, sweet, and responsible with the given task. She's super talented and she delivers with such professional performance. I'm surprised and greatful to have someone like her in my project. She does what needs to be done with recording deliveries, clean and clear audio too. I can definitely see big and great things happening to her. I highly recommend to work with her in the future!

I am so fortunate to be able to work with Sara! She is an absolute angel, being kind, talented, and friendly!! Her voice recordings leave me speechless (almost literally!) every time! Sara voices Queen Spectria in my series The Mystic Eevee Quest, and she absolutely SLAYS the role!! She has such a beautiful and majestic voice, the voice of a ✨Goddess✨!!
Thank you again Sara~! 💖
