Reana Kirzten

Hello! My name is Reana Kirzten Villanueva.

Introduction

I am a self-motivated college undergraduate student, merit scholar, and voice principal at Berklee College of Music, pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Electronic Production and Sound Design (EPD). I have a fondness for all activities pertaining to the music, the arts, and technology. 

I enjoy utilizing my creativity and strive to apply optimal quality into my work.

Experience

I had over 15 years of formal vocal and piano instruction, 9 years of experience in video production, photography, and graphic design, as well as audio mixing experience for the past 5 years. I have collaborated with individuals from a broad array of backgrounds and ultimately believe that I can bring a lot to the table with the skills and services that I can provide.

I was an active participant in professional organizations such as Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) Certificate of Merit (CM), Golden State Association of Christian Schools (GSACS), California Music Educators Association (CMEA), and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). I also performed at the CM Branch Honors Recital and New Materials State Convention in 2015, as a result of obtaining high scores on MTAC’s CM evaluation exam.

I formed a geographically dispersed band called Luminescence in 2021 and played a role as lead vocalist, producer, composer, graphic designer, video editor, and brand manager. I was also involved in high school and college-level STEM academic programs.

Ambitions

I aspire to pursue a professional career that fuses the use of technology, visual arts, and music, in hopes of fulfilling my ambition as an independent and service-oriented audio engineer/music producer. 

Currently, I am also preparing for my anticipated debut on Spotify.

I have post-graduation plans to attend graduate school in New York University as part of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development campus, where I intend to obtain a Master of Music degree in Music Technology. In addition, I plan to comprehend the broader fundamentals of creative entrepreneurship and open up a specialized-service recording studio situated in New York City. 

I feel that having interminable involvement with music and technology can help me learn a lot with my services and create a quality-abundant final product.
