Ahoy there! If you are looking at this, that means that you have an interest in lending your voice for Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. To give a little bit of background, I am Captain Antpez, a small streamer on Twitch; and my last big collab was actually the first game in the Zero Escape series. We had just recently finished up the first game and now I am looking towards doing another big collaboration for the second game which is much bigger and longer. Also in my opinion the best one in the series.
When I hosted the first collab, it was quite the experience and was mostly between other streamers that have become very good friends. It was also the very first time I had hosted a collab of that size, so there are certainly some things I’m a bit more prepared for this time. So much so that I wanted to extend an invitation to everyone who would be interested in taking part in the collab.
With that let’s go over some of the general things I am looking for.
This is open to everyone, doesn’t matter if you’re a big or small streamer nor does it matter if you are a professional voice actor or not.
This collab will be LIVE and will be streamed on my channel on Sundays between 2pm-4pm PST
YOU MUST JOIN THE DISCORD
This will be a long project, the first game took us over a year and 4 months to complete. Please take this into consideration when auditioning as the second game is much longer!
Unfortunately, I am not able to offer any compensation. Due to that, I do not expect you to be at every single stream, if you can make every stream though it is most appreciated but is not a requirement.
To add on to the previous statement, due to that nature there will be two different types of roles Primary and Back Up
Primary will be the official go to actor to voice the character
Back Up will be fill in for primary when they are unable to attend that stream
THIS MEANS EVERYONE CAN HAVE A ROLE STILL EVEN IF YOU DON’T GET CASTED FOR PRIMARY
Where To Audition and Guidelines
There are a couple of different ways to turn in your audition. You can submit your audition here on CCC, you can submit on the discord in which there is a channel that will be specifically used for your auditions, or you can email your auditions to me privately at captainantpez @ gmail.com . Here are some guidelines for auditioning!
If you send audition through email, please put in subject Zero Escape Audition (If no subject line or indication that it is an audition for zero escape will be automatically discarded)
PLEASE DO NOT EDIT YOUR AUDITIONS
Since this will be LIVE it is preferred that your auditions do not use noise removal, compressor, or any edits of the sort. UNLESS it is something you can duplicate in a discord VC.
If you can, please do your audition during the time that we would be typically LIVE. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS IT IS JUST RECOMMENDED
You may use either an MP3 or WAV file for your audition. You may also use video format if you would prefer. If you use video format, please upload the video to youtube and send a link to the video.
Please state if you are auditioning as a Primary or as Back Up
You may audition for more than one character, however, if casted as a primary that will be the only character you would voice.
If you are a streamer, please add a link to your channel
Even though the game is already voiced, I am not looking for people to replicate the original voice actors. So feel free to be creative!
Adlibs lines are fine to add into the audition as well but be sure to include the requested lines as well!
Gender for each character doesn’t matter. Feel free to voice masculine characters with feminine voices and vice versa.
Be respectful to anyone that auditions on the discord!
