300-600 words of dialogue (script isn't finalized). Sarah is the ex-girlfriend of a major character, Mark, who appears in flashbacks that give context about Mark and his past. (These aren't necessarily final names) They're both in their early-to-mid 20s. Months after the break-up, she has an unexpected encounter with him at a party when Mark shows up, drunk, and claims she texted him and asked him to get back together. She didn't actually do that, but Mark is experiencing delusions. Sarah awkwardly rebuffs him and makes it clear she’s moved on and is with someone else, but shows concern about his clearly deteriorating mental state.
She's kind of nerdy, intelligent and emotionally mature. She's a compassionate person generally. She’s a university student, hard working, and seems to have life pretty well figured out for someone in their 20s. At the same time, it's clear that she’s still somewhat hurt by how Mark's personal issues ruined their relationship and seeing him again is upsetting. However, her tone shows she still cares about him to some extent and is worried about him.

[After a tense short conversation with Mark where he claims she texted him and tries to show his phone] (Irritated and kind of sad, trying to keep her voice calm while still having to raise it a bit to be heard over the loud background music of the party) No, just… Please, just let me finish. I-I didn't text you anything. Okay? I literally have no idea–
[He gives a strange slurred response, interrupting her] (Softer, still upset but clearly concerned about him, memories of them being together coming back) Mark, how much have you had to drink tonight?
Hello. I'm looking for a female VA for a role in the range of 250-350 words with a budget of $30.
The character's name is Morphia (not a final name), and she's the "Demoness of Dreams" who plays an important role as a villain in one episode of this horror webseries. Morphia is a motherly, doting demon who sees herself as a kind of keeper of wayward dreamers who wander into her lair even as she corrupts them. She sees her ability to numb dreamers to reality and ultimately trap them in the dreamscape as a gift that removes the pain of the waking world, even when it isn't wanted. She sometimes appears as a nurse or doctor administering supposed pain relieving drugs for her patients' "own good."
Her personality is darkly benevolent and motherly -- sickly sweet. She is seemingly very caring and nurturing but with a veiled undertone of suffocating, controlling smothering that tricks dreamers into trusting her to take care of them until she reveals she won't let them leave her domain. She seems at first to be almost too warm and pleasant, in a way that implies insincerity. She also quickly shows herself to be very possessive of her "prey" when they try to wake. She really does seem to believe she's saving her hapless victims from a waking world which has been made terrible by the brutality of human behavior (the 3rd line touches on this).
Above all, ideally she would be a fun and memorable character with a strong personality.

[Apologizing for the simple state of her current dreamscape] Sorry, I know it's not exactly high octane or whatever – we don't have any, you know, Swedish mushrooms or holographic blindfolds or whatever kids are into these days. (Laugh)
[Speaking with pity about the dreamers she's corrupted] Poor little wolfhounds, bred for the game hunt. But now you won, and the sun is setting and all the rabbits are dead and you just don't know what to do with yourselves. Stuck running the same wheels, chasing your tails. (Laugh)
