Hi, Everyone! Thank you so much for your interest in this casting call. This is a project that I'm very excited about and you guys are a big part of making that happen. Listening to your auditions, giving feedback, and making suggestions for roles you could audition for was a lot of fun! But, now the time has come. Throughout the week, I'll continue to listen to your auditions with the role in mind. While a few of you may be cast as the role you auditioned for, some of you may be asked to pick up a different role that I think really fit that character, so please also be on the lookout for any messages regarding that. Once cast, I will ask for your discord information (if it's not in your profile) and invite you into the discord server. Ideally, everyone should be cast in a week. Lastly, I really did enjoy hearing your auditions. You are all so talented and I honestly wish that I could cast each of you. Just know that if you are not cast, it doesn't mean you did a bad job or that someone is better than you. It just means that someone else's voice fit how I see the character. Thank you all again for taking the time to audition and even re-audition! If not cast, I truly wish you all the best of luck in your voice over dreams. I'm cheering for you guys! -Em

Dead is the 13th
I'm sorry for posting a third update in the same day. The project came up as closed, so to keep it open until the actual deadline I had extended it to the 14th on the website. The deadline is still tomorrow at 11:59pm CST so you still have some time! -
Deadline Reminder
Also, (forgot to post this in the update)I want to remind you all that the deadline is at 11:59pm CST tomorrow! (June 13th) -
One Day Left
Hi Everyone, I'm back home! I tried to listen to as many of your auditions as I could while I was gone. I am still floored by the number of auditions received and the talent that you all have! It really is going to be hard to choose when it comes down to it. For a quick reminder, please do the lines in ABC format! I've had a few recent auditions that are doing it differently, so please remember to record it as such. Also, remember to only do three takes MAX. Lastly, to those of you who haven't recorded/sent in your audition yet, you got this! It can be a bit nerve-wracking looking at the number of auditions that there are, but trust me when I say that those same people had worked up the courage to hit submit as well. I also would like to encourage you to not listen to other auditions prior to your own recording. I know for myself, when I first started voice acting and did that, I would be more nervous. Yes, there is so much talent and brilliant voices, but your voice can shine too. I would love to see it. As for feedback, I'll try to get back to as many of you as I can when asked. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing more auditions! -Em -
One Week Left
Hi Everyone, I hope you are all doing well! Once again, I am amazed at the talent in the auditions I've heard so far. Thank you for all of those who took the time to audition and those who took the time to audition for roles I suggested as well! We now have one week left. Feedback and suggestions will be slow this coming week as I will be out of town, but I will try to get back to as many of you as I can. I look forward to hearing your auditions and wish you all the best! Thank you, Em
Yuko is a witch with the ability to grant wishes. She is a fun and whimsical character who enjoys drinking alcohol and teasing Watanuki.
In spite of her seemingly easy going personality, she is in fact quite a mysterious character. She has an amused and otherworldly tone when speaking of possibilities and occurrences, as if she knows what is to come.
Despite her constant teasing of her part-timer, Watanuki, at times she shows a motherly side to him.
If cast, I will ask to get in the call as this is a very important role in the series. I believe that to do this role well, we would need to discuss more about the character as this character knows way more than you would expect about the story. This is only for this specific role.
I’ve come here to grant your wish.
*laughing* A famous sword will only cut that which its master requires it to cut.
There is no such thing as coincidence in this world. There is only the inevitable.
Kimihiro Watanuki has spent his entire life haunted by the ability to see the supernatural. That is until he finds a mysterious wish granting shop. It is here that he promises to work for the equivalence of the wish he wants granted.
Watanuki has a bit of a childish and overly exaggerated personality. Despite his constant complaining over things (usually over Domeki and Yuko), he has a warm and caring heart. As the series progresses, he becomes more mature and serious, though exaggerates his reactions in certain relationships.
He is extremely loyal.
This place is impossible! Look at all this junk lying around!
She smiled and wished me luck at work! Ah! Himawari Kunogi is so cute! Today is bound to be a good day!
This isn’t good! Whatever that stuff is, if it gets any bigger, I have a feeling something awful will happen!
Himawari Kunogi is a classmate and crush of Watanuki. While Watanuki believes she is the “goddess of luck”, Yuko seems to think differently.
She is seemingly cheerful and sweet, however, at times there is a hint of sadness in her cheeriness that isn’t often read. She tends not to get too close to people, but grows close to Domeki and Watanuki.
*giggling* I’m sorry, did I scare you?
Watanuki, you’re a little pale. Are you okay?
Hey! My first name is Himawari, so call me that okay?
Maru and Moro are like twins and mostly speak at the same time. They are also “spirits” that are strongly tied to the shop, so much so that they can’t leave.
Maru is the more mature one, though she can be temperamental at times. Moro is the seemingly younger twin and in that sense can be more innocent. Both are quite childish.
They are quite loyal to Yuko and become really fond of Watanuki.
They show up quite frequently, but have very small lines.
We will!
Come back soon!
Examples of giggles and laughs for this line would be great please!
Mokona, is quite mischievous and aloof. They really like sake (like really really) and can be quite childish at times.
Despite this, Mokona is caring (unless a bottle of sake can be seen).
Though a supporting character within the series, Mokona shows up only briefly during the special episode we will be working on.
Yo! Nice to meet ya!
Get a beer for Mokona, too!
This role appears for one episode.
A woman who has a bad habit of not being able to tell the truth. She appears at the shop and is the first guest that Watanuki meets.
Umm...before I realized it, I was here again.
You mean bad habits? I still can't say anything comes to mind.
I'm not married yet, but I'm seeing someone.
Hana Hana (her handle), is a mother and housewife who found herself with a strange modern addiction. In hopes of quitting, she contacts Yuko.
She has a pretty strong addiction. So much so, that she literally can't think of anything else. She wants to quit so that she can commit to her life and family, but she's also desperate to be on the computer that it's become a problem.
I have to quit social media. When I'm working, with the kids, or even watching TV, it's on my mind.
If I'm going to quit, I have to send messages to everyone to let them know! Oh! And of course, I need to post about it, too! My followers will probably miss me. I'm sorry, you've all been so nice. And I had that show I was almost done binging. Just this last episode and I'll be done. If I don't know, I'll never get the chance!
I don't want to give up the life I have now.
One of the workers at the drug store. He seems nice and helpful.
He appears briefly in the second episode. He is a character from another manga by Clamp.
A hangover cure, huh? Let's see...
Hey, Rikuo, do we have any hangover cures?
Another worker at the drug store. Unlike his co-worker, he seems more reserved and serious. Definitely the cool type.
Also, from another series by Clamp.
We've got two types. Regular and S.
The S-Type obviously. This one.
These are for both female and male roles. Feel free to audition how you'd like!
She may look young, but she's been around for a while.
We should get drinks and catch up sometime! I'll call you!
Hi! Could you help out with a survey? It won't take long.
I wrote each of the scripts myself (of course they're just re-writings of the original English script within the manga chapters), but would love some feedback on the writing along with alternate suggestions. Since this is an unpaid project, this is completely voluntary and totally not required. Just much appreciated.
Thank you!
Feel free to share work you have done in the past with scripts or short stories.

I've been practicing video editing, but would love some help. As this is an unpaid project, this is completely voluntary and not required, though much appreciated.
For work, please send examples of work you've done relative to webtoon or manga video editing. Though of course, I will look at others as well.
Say something you think would fit
I have experience with editing audio, but would definitely love some assistance with it. This is an unpaid project, so this will be completely voluntary and definitely not required, but much appreciated.
