WWII Era Fantasy Comedy
Project Overview
A 90 minute comedy inspired by a true event. The rest - completely made up!
During World War II, Royal Navy Intelligence Officer Ian Fleming, along with Prime Minister Winston Churchill, hatch a plot to cast a spell on Hitler... with the help of British witches.
Produced by Jack West and The Profound Idiots comedy troupe.
We'll have a few rehearsals and our recording online. You have a good mic and noise-less area. Together, we'll make this silly thing happen.
If you can perform more than one role distinctly from each other, that's acceptable.

Fiona is one of this story's protagonists. British, 20's-30's, endearing, charming, alluring, sweet, bright - and a witch. But not your stereotypical witch.
DIRECTION: British accent. There are no audition lines per se. Instead, for this audition, what I'd like to hear is you playing hopeful, then disappointed, then assertive, then regular every-day normal conversation.
So if you could choose a few brief lines of your choice that demonstrate your ability to:1. Sound like you're hopeful.
2. Sound like you're disappointed.
3. Sound like you're assertive.
4. Sound like a regular person, carrying on a normal conversation.
Heidi is a "Brunhilde" type Nazi spy. Statuesque. Intimidating. Formidable. She speaks with a German accent.
I'm afraid zat ees not ze correct answer to ze Envoy's question.
Oh yah? Do you think I came unprepared for your sorcery, Witch?
I'm afraid I cannot permit you to proceed mit your plans.
Agnes is an older British woman (50's, 60's maybe 70's) and a bit dotty. Imagine an Aunt Clara type or a Katy Wix character.
Fiona, dear. We're all on your side. Why aren't you?
You see, the planets have lined up in a cosmic queue, but for what reason, don't ask me.
I have? Well then! End on a positive note -- What's that? Another brilliant idea?... Or maybe not end, because I'm on a roll.
